The network behind boring

boring is a platform, not a closed system. Technology partners, licensed tax firms and connected data sources work together — here is who contributes what.

Technology

Technology partners

Specialised providers whose features run inside the platform rather than as another tool beside it.

For your company

You get features that would otherwise take several tools, right inside boring: vetted, embedded and under the same data protection rules as the rest of the platform. One login, one set of data, no exports between systems.

For partners

You reach corporations in the middle of their financial process rather than through yet another application someone has to set up. The connection runs through our API and MCP interface.

Tax firms

Tax firm partners

Licensed tax advisories that carry out the activities reserved for professionals. boring.legal GmbH provides the software and offers no regulated services itself.

For your company

Review, filings and annual accounts come from a licensed firm — with a regular engagement letter, representation before the tax office and professional liability insurance. You can read the contract before signing, and no filing leaves the system without review by qualified staff.

For partners

You work in a platform where receipts, transactions and posting suggestions are already prepared, and take over review and approval. Client communication and tasks live in the same system, and the books are mirrored into DATEV under SKR 03 and SKR 04.

Integrations

Connected systems

Accounts, payment providers and receipt sources you connect once — after that transactions and receipts reach the books on their own.

For your company

Connect once, then no more exporting and re-importing: turnover and receipts land in the right case automatically, the AI agent assigns them and you approve. On the way out everything goes to DATEV and through ELSTER to the tax office.

For partners

Your users book what happens on your side without a detour through CSV files. One connection that then runs without attention — we handle matching, duplicate checks and assignment.
